FA2 Maintaining Financial Records - Study Text and Exam Kit focuses on what you learned in the FA1 Recording Financial Transactions Foundations Accountancy Paper. There is a lot to learn, but none of it is – particularly difficult, and in higher-level financial accounting in FFA (ACCA paper F3), a good understanding of these topics can help you.

THE EXAM
This exam can be taken as a paper-based or CBE exam. All questions are compulsory in the exam.
This means that you can not skip any topic, but it also means that you do not have to waste time deciding which questions to attempt in the exam.
In the paper-based exam, there are 50 MCQs and a mixture of MCQs and other OTQ types (number entry, multiple response and multiple response matching) in the CBE. This ensures that almost all of the syllabus at each sitting can be tested by the examination team, and that is what they aim to do. But you need to get this exam revised right through the syllabus.
Revision
This Practice & Revision Kit has been reviewed by the FA2 review team and includes the June 2014 Specimen Exam as Mock Exam 1, so you will be very well prepared for the exam if you only worked through it to the end. Under exam conditions, it is essential to tackle questions. Only give yourself the number of minutes shown in the index next to the questions and don't look at the answers until you're done. Then correct your answer and go back to the Interactive Text for any topic that you really have trouble with.
A week later try the same question again. You'll be shocked how much better you're doing. Doing the questions like this will really show you what you know, which will make it less worrying for the exam experience.
Good Luck 👍 and Enjoy! 😊
